The beefy “Beast” ebike
Daymak Inc. in Canada is probably best known for fielding the world’s fastest go-kart (0-to-60 in less than 1.5 sec. and all electric). But it also builds an ebike called the Beast, basically an ebike with features of an ATV. Nexperia, formerly the Standard Products Div. of NXP, had one in its booth outfitted with Nexperia power devices. Among them were power MOSFETs in the inverter powering the Beast’s 500-W motor, LED drives for the headlights, and dash display electronics (pictured below).
