The SDI30-U, SDI30-UD, SDI40-U, and SDI40-UD series external power supplies from CUI are all designed to meet the current average efficiency and no-load power requirements mandated by the US Dept. of Energy (DoE) under the Level VI standard. All models also meet the European Union’s (EU) proposed CoC Tier 2 directive, under review to become law in 2018, which looks to further tighten the efficiency requirements enforced by Level VI while adding a new power consumption limit at 10% load levels. The SDI30 and SDI40 series are available with C8 or C14 inlets and single output voltages of 12, 15, 19, and 24 Vdc. Both series are housed in a compact package measuring 4.37×2.05×1.27 in (111x52x32.3 mm) with a wide universal input voltage range of 90 to 264 Vac. The adapters carry UL/cUL, GS, PSE, and CE marks and meet the radiated and conducted emission requirements for FCC Part 15B Class B. Protections for over voltage and short circuit are also included.
