350 W open-frame supply targets industrial automation and robotics

December 5, 2025 By Redding Traiger Leave a Comment

Advanced Energy has introduced the SLB350, a 350 W open-frame AC-DC power supply designed for industrial equipment that requires compact packaging and compliance with emissions and safety standards. Target applications include stage lighting, test and measurement systems, automation equipment, robotics, and battery-charging platforms where power density and thermal margin affect enclosure design and system reliability.

The SLB350 provides a single continuous output rated at 350 W and is designed to maintain full output under elevated ambient temperatures and limited airflow conditions. This thermal performance can reduce the need for additional cooling measures and supports stable output delivery in compact assemblies or enclosures with constrained ventilation.

For electromagnetic compatibility, the unit is certified to EN 55032 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions, supporting integration into electrically sensitive systems and reducing the likelihood of interference with nearby electronics. The power supply is also designed to meet IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 requirements for information and audio-visual equipment and complies with EN 61000-6-2 immunity requirements for heavy industrial environments.

The SLB350 supports output voltage options ranging from 12 V to 48 V and is supplied in a 3 in × 5 in open-frame form factor to support space-constrained power architectures in OEM designs. Additional information on the SLB series is available through Advanced Energy.
