360-W Programmable desktop power supplies meet Level VI efficiency specs

May 5, 2017 By Lee Teschler

mean well enp-encNew 360W ENP-360 and ENC-360 series power supplies accept 90~264-Vac inputs and include built-in active PFC. Developed by MEAN WELL, the supplies come in standard 7-in. widths and meet worldwide safety regulations (UL/CUL/CB/CE/FCC). The ENP family complies with EISA 2007/DoE Level VI, NRCan, EU ErP and CoC Version 5; the ENC family is programmable in terms of adjusting charging mode and charging parameters to handle different battery characteristics. Typical applications for the products in these two families include radio system backup, land mobile radio systems, surveillance systems and electric scooter chargers.

The ENC is a good candidate for charging lead-acid (flooded, Gel and AGM) and lithium-ion batteries (lithium iron and lithium manganese). It has a 125% peak load capability and a built-in three-stage programmable charging curve. It also has built-in temperature compensation and protection against over-voltage/over-temperature/battery under-voltage, battery over-voltage, and battery reverse polarity. The ENP series includes short-circuit and overload protection. Both series have a working temperature of -30~+70℃, a fanless design, cooling by free air convection, have a three-year warranty, and sit in 192x178x45.5-mm (L x W x H) enclosures.
