AC-DC power supply for wide range of servers and networking applications.

March 16, 2017 By Aimee Kalnoskas Leave a Comment

Bel Power Solutions and BELFB announce the expansion of Bel Power Solutions front-end, AC-DC power supply portfolio to include the TET3000-12-069RA power supply suitable for a wide range of servers and networking applications.

The TET3000 is a 3000 W Titanium efficient front-end AC-DC power supply that converts standard AC mains power into a main output of 12 VDC for powering intermediate bus architectures (IBA) in high performance and high reliability servers, routers and network switches.

The TET3000 delivers a power density of 32 W/in3 and achieves Titanium efficiency (>96% efficient at 50% load) in a compact package measuring 69 x 40.5 x 555 mm (2.72 x 1.59 x 21.85 inches). The AC-DC stage uses soft switching resonant techniques to reduce component stresses, providing increased system reliability and very high efficiency, in conjunction with synchronous rectification. It also has a DC input voltage range of 180-410 VDC. An active ORing device on the output ensures no reverse load current and renders the supply ideally suited for operation in redundant power systems. Power supplies are hot swappable and can be connected in parallel with active digital current sharing. An always-on +12 V 36 W standby output is provided.

TET3000 features system communications via I2C/PMBus™ protocol allowing full monitoring of the supply, voltages, current, power and temperature. Multiple protections such as overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature are standard. RoHS compliant and CE marked, the power supply is safety agency certified per UL/CSA 60950-1 and meets the requirements of EN 60950-1. It further meets the conducted and radiated EMI requirements of EN 55022-A. Your Bel Power sales representative can be found here. You can also send an email to
