Chassis-mount dc-dc converters handle 80-160-V input for harsh environments

February 6, 2020 By Aimee Kalnoskas Leave a Comment

TMDC-H dc-dc convertersTRACO POWER announces the release of the TMDC-H family of chassis-mount DC-DC converter modules covering 5 power levels ranging from 6~60 watts featuring 80~160 VDC input ranges and 3kVAC reinforced I/O isolation making them ideal for rugged environments and industrial applications.

The TMDC-H modules come fully encapsulated with terminal strip connections for ease of installation in industrial applications and equipped with integrated filters limiting emissions (EN 55032 class A) and immunity (EN 55035) without the need for external components. Each wattage level consists of 8 different models offering 80-160 VDC input ranges and outputs of 5 / 12 / 15 / 24 / 48 / ±12 / ±15 / ±24 VDC with high efficiency operation up to 89%. Features include: Remote ON/Off control; Power Good LED indicator; full-load convection-cooled operation from -40°C to +85°C (model dependent); high reliability with an MTBF of >4.1 million hours supported by a 3 year warranty; and international safety approvals to UL/EN 62368-1 with CB Report. Optional DIN Rail mounting kits make these ideal for industrial control cabinets.

Products are in stock and available through distributors around the globe with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks.
