Dialight LED Family Receives DesignLights Consortium Certification

July 25, 2013 By scombest

Dialight announced the listing of their 14,000 lumen DuroSite and SafeSite LED High Bay family on the DesignLights Consortium’s Solid State Lighting Fixtures Qualified Products List. Posting on the DLC list identifies the fixture as eligible for valuable utility rebate programs at the discretion of participating DLC utility partners and validates the High Bay’s exceptional energy efficiency and lighting efficacy.

DLC sets efficiency specifications for LED lighting in categories not included in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Star program, with only thoroughly tested products making their list of qualified products. By making this list, facilities who install Dialight’s 14k lumen High Bays not only receive fixtures with 5-year full performance warranties and high efficiency but may also qualify for many state and utility energy efficient rebate programs — meaning a short payback period and substantial total cost of ownership savings.

The DuroSite and SafeSite 14K lumen High bays come in a range of variants and offer a number of options for specific needs of customers. Specifically designed for the world’s harshest environments, Dialight’s LED high bays feature integrated power supplies based on topologies and design techniques developed over several years.  With a weight of 14 lbs and 6” in height, the easy to install High Bay can be mounted up to 50’ above the workplane while producing efficient lighting. DuroSite and SafeSite High Bays are rated to operate in temperatures between -40oC and +65oC, are Dark Sky compliant and provide up to 10 kV surge protection.

The 14K lumen DuroSite and SafeSite High Bay line is the first family to be listed on DLC’s Qualified Products List for Dialight and the company plans to pursue more family listings of their industry-leading LED products in the near future.
