Encapsulated AC-DC Modules Offer Multiple Mounting Options

June 16, 2010 By admin

(Tualatin, OR) – V-Infinity, a division of CUI Inc, announces two separate lines of 5W, 15W, and 30W encapsulated ac-dc modules that offer different mounting options.  The FSK series is packaged in a compact board mount case, while the new FSC series is available in a chassis mount case with screw terminals for easy installation. An optional DIN-rail adaptor kit for the FSC series will be available in Q1 of 2008.  These power modules are ideal for any application where compact power is needed on the PCB or in an enclosed chassis.

All models carry UL60950 (E222889), CSA C22.2 NO.60950, CE(EN60950) safety approvals.  Most models are also approved to CB (IEC 60950), and EMC approved EN61204-3 class B, 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3.  Both the FSK and FSC series have available outputs from 3.3 to 24 Vdc and universal input of 85~264 Vac / 110-340 Vdc input.  Operating temperature range is from -10~50°C with no derating.  Other features include thermal shutdown, short circuit protection, low output ripple and noise, and isolated output.  Available through Digi-Key now; 5 W models start at $9.00 in OEM quantity.
