The STEV high-voltage contactor series from Sensata Technologies is designed for battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle platforms, providing high-voltage switching between the battery and systems such as inverters and chargers. The contactors support continuous current ratings from 150 A to 600 A, short-circuit withstand capability above 20 kA and hermetically sealed ceramic designs, with optional IP67 protection and bidirectional current capability. The series is scalable across passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks and is engineered to meet automotive safety and quality requirements for global EV platforms.
