November 18, 2013 By Jennifer Calhoon

“Phil Horner, CEO, Horner Lighting Group, said they are excited to introduce a new Generation of Solid State Lighting (SSL). LED’s have recently moved into the main stream within the lighting world, and early adopters of this technology will reap the benefits.

A number of lighting companies are trying to match legacy systems for the purposes of compatibility, but at Horner Lighting Group, we are focused on giving more to the customer by reducing his or her future cost of power and maintenance labor. We will continue to focus on enhancements and improvements to LED lighting for our customers,” said Horner.

The new Horner LED Remote Phosphor Linear product line saves on installation time, product replacement life span, and enhances the work environment with a variety of CRI options. With a sleek design, a variety of options, and unparalleled light quality, Horner Lighting Group strives to raise the bar for customer interior lighting needs with this cost-effective solution.

This advanced lighting fixture uses tubular extrusions of phosphor to create linear arrays of light that have 2 to 4 times higher output and 2 to 4 times higher efficacy than florescent or metal halide lighting. These new fixtures excel at lighting industrial, warehouse, retail spaces and more.

“The future in SSL is incredible as traditional materials will be abandoned to thermal plastics and films to improve the lighting experience and efficiencies. At Horner Lighting Group, we plan to lead the way in these advancements and are excited to be launching our innovative LED Remote Phosphor Linear line as a first step in this path,” said Horner.
