Inductor decreases DC resistance, increases saturation current

The WE-MXGA from Würth Elektronik is an AEC-Q200-certified SMT storage inductor for automotive applications, offering up to 25% lower RDC and up to 47% higher saturation current than comparable components. Designed for high-frequency switch-mode power supplies including GaN- and SiC-based regulators, it targets lighting, infotainment systems, 48 V/12 V DC/DC converters, battery-management systems, ADAS modules and LED headlights. The series is available in 4020 and 5030 form factors with inductance ranges of 0.16 to 4.7 µH and 0.22 to 15 µH, respectively, current capability up to 28 A, operating voltage up to 80 VDC and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C.
