Isolated gate driver ICs with opto-emulator input support SiC

February 11, 2026 By Puja Mitra Leave a Comment

The EiceDRIVER™ 1ED301xMC12I family from Infineon Technologies AG consists of isolated gate driver ICs with opto-emulator input designed for Si MOSFETs, IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs in motor drives, solar inverters, EV chargers and energy storage systems. The devices provide up to 6.5 A output current, CMTI greater than 300 kV/µs, 40 ns propagation delay and less than 10 ns timing matching, and are housed in a CTI 600 6-pin DSO package with more than 8 mm creepage and clearance. Certified to UL 1577 with pending IEC 60747-17 approval, the drivers support migration to SiC designs without redesigning optocoupler-based control schemes.
