Magnalight’s Low Voltage Explosion Proof LED Light

The HAL-48-33W-LED, low voltage, explosion proof LED light designed for hazardous locations where high output, a low profile and durability are critical issues. Constructed of high-grade aluminum and fitted with CREE LEDs, the HAL-48-33W-LED Explosion Proof LED Light provides operators with a rugged light source that can be mounted in tight spaces without sacrificing output or durability.

The light is a versatile and durable, explosion proof lighting solution that can be mounted in areas with limited space without giving up anything in power or durability. Measuring 48 in. long, 2.6 in. wide, and less than 1 in. high, can be mounted in tight spaces and locations where typical fluorescent fixtures would be too obtrusive or impractical. Able to be operated from 12 to 24 V dc, for low voltage applications, it produces 2,416 lumen light output while drawing only 2.64 A when connected to a 12 V power source. Constructed of high-grade extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish, this light is a very durable and lightweight fixture that can stand up to the demands of the industrial work place. The fixture is IP54 rated as well, ensuring effective protection against dusts and water, and is effective installed indoors or outside. The availability of a wide range of options allows operators to tailor these LED lights to their specific needs. Operators can choose a narrow 30° spot beam configuration for longer reach, or a 100° wide beam for maximum workspace coverage. Operators can also choose from three different mounting options, as well as, three different color temperatures including 3500,K warm white, 4300,K neutral white, and 6500,K cool white light output. High reliability is provided by the inclusion of CREE LEDs, which offer longer life, higher output, and better light quality than comparable LEDs. Internal thermal controls ensure cool operation and long LED life, and a simple 6-foot cord with a standard three-wire configuration provides hassle free connections. This light is approved for Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations, and is also Canadian CSA 22.2 No. 250.0 compliant and U.L. 1598 certified as well. These light bars are fit for industrial and commercial work places where flammable gases or vapors may become present including petrochemical processing facilities, utilities, aircraft hangars and manufacturing areas.
