Registration is now open for the 41st Annual Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC), which will return to San Antonio, Texas, for the first time since 2018. The 2026 event will take place March 22–26 at the Henry B. González Convention Center and will continue APEC’s long-standing tradition of delivering world-class technical content, professional education, and industry networking for practicing power electronics engineers.
APEC remains one of the most cost-effective IEEE conferences, offering exceptional value through its combination of peer-reviewed papers, industry sessions, and professional seminars. Attendees can expect presentations that address both current challenges and emerging trends across the power electronics landscape, with content suited for engineers at all levels of experience.
Full conference registration includes access to the extensive APEC Exposition, where nearly 300 manufacturers and solution providers will showcase the latest innovations in power conversion, design tools, and components. The event also features interactive and social activities such as the popular MicroMouse contest and the Wednesday evening networking event, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.
Discounted hotel rates are available at several nearby properties, though rooms are expected to sell out quickly. Hotel reservations can be made only after completing conference registration, at which point attendees will receive a confirmation email with links to APEC’s contracted hotels. Complete details regarding registration, lodging, and travel arrangements are available on the APEC Registration and Travel Information pages.
APEC 2026 once again invites power electronics professionals from around the world to connect, learn, and collaborate in one of the industry’s most anticipated gatherings of the year.
