Rugged, wide-range input 6/10-W dc-dc power modules handle industrial, ITE apps

October 1, 2019 By Aimee Kalnoskas Leave a Comment

DTE06 and DTE10 DC-DC convertersXP Power introduced two new series of wide input range chassis and DIN rail mount DC-DC converters that offer simple and rapid installation into a wide variety of industrial and ITE applications.

The DTE06 and DTE10 DC-DC converters provide 6W and 10W of power and offer a 4:1 input range, giving a wide tolerance for fluctuating supplies. With nominal inputs of 12/24VDC and 24/48VDC the series cover inputs between 9.0VDC and 75.0VDC.

The devices are supplied fully potted in chassis mount format with screw terminals for simple, time-saving mounting and connection. A DIN rail mount is optionally available for use in control cabinets and household consumer units. A power-good LED indicator provides at-a-glance confirmation of correct operation.

All of the DC-DC converters are IEC/UL/cUL 62368-1 safety approved and offer 3.0kVDC isolation between the supply and load. They also comply with EN55032 Class A emissions with no external components, meaning that no additional filtering is required for EMC compliance.
