Sanyo Denki’s SANUPS A11H UPS Saves Battery Life and UPS Replacement Costs

June 8, 2012 By Natasha Townsend Leave a Comment

The new SANUPS A11H UPS features true online double conversion to clean utility power and ensures stable and reliable output voltage for precision computing, communicating and networking equipment. To achieve maximum battery life and high reliability, a wider input voltage window (55 – 150 V), means running longer without switching to battery. A wide frequency window (40 – 120 Hz) also contributes to system reliability, and allows for the use of small, inexpensive generators.

Equipped with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology, power re-stabilizes in seconds and is ideal for use with computer servers, ATMs in remote locations, cellphone towers in unstable power locations and more. Available in rack mount (1/1.5/2/3 kVA) and tower styles (1/2/3 kVA), the wide range of UPS systems include models up to 20 kVA. All units are UL1778 approved.  Some basic UPS functions can be accessed natively in Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and Server2008 with software being compatible to Windows OSs, UNIX and LINUS. This software can communicate via a serial connection, dry contact interface or through an optional LAN interface card (web-based or SNMP). Some software features include real-time viewing and historical logging of power related events and values, orderly computer shutdowns in the event of power failure and auto start-up.
