Compact ac/dc supply handles full 450-W load at up to 65°C

TPP 450-M seriesTraco Power has released the TPP 450-M series of medical & industrial approved 450-watt power supplies in a small 3.15 x 5.83 x 1.60” enclosure with fan package. High efficiency up to 94% combined with industrial grade components enable -40°C ~ +80°C operation (full load operation up to +65°C @ 230VAC input / +55°C @ 115VAC input for 24~48VDC models).

The TPP 450-M series consists of 5 single output models offering 12 / 15 / 24 / 36 / 48 Vout with 5Vsb @ 2A and a smart, variable fan speed controlled 12V Fan to minimize noise. Status and control features include Remote Sense, Power Good, Remote on/off. Operating from Universal AC Input with Active Power Factor Correction, features include 4000 VAC I/O isolation with a double-reinforced insulation system, 2500 VAC output to field ground isolation and <100µA leakage current.

Approved to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition approval, EMC compliance to EN 60601-1-2 4th Edition and EN 55032 class B conducted emissions the TPP 450-M series is ideal for 2xMOPP and Type BF medical applications. Ruggedized to meet IEC 60068-2-6 (Vibration), IEC 60068-2-27 (Shock), MIL-STD-810F (Thermal Shock) and UL 62368-1 approved extends the application base of these power supplies into industrial markets. All models are backed by TRACO POWER’s 5 year warranty.
