Hello, I am Natasha Townsend, Associate Electrical Engineering Editor at Design World. In this DAQ series, National Instruments has provided its myDAQ and myGrid minisystems as a demonstration of how DAQs work in everyday applications.
The intent and purpose of the minisystems platform is to present engineering theory and principals into real life applications. The myGrid is a replica of how power plants supply power to homes, while monitoring the load levels from each home.
This myDAQ system has the capabilities of displaying the readings from a DMM, an oscilloscope, FGEN (function generator), VPS (variable power supply), bode plots, dynamic signal analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, digital reader, impedance analyzer, 2 and 3 wire current voltage analyzer, ac and dc voltage, ac and dc current, resistance, capacitance, impedance, diode and continuity.

Hello, any idea on how to setup a labview schematic to view the changes in voltage and frequency when the load is varied??? I have been trying to read the data from myGrid but has failed.
