TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TDN-WI Family of miniaturized DC/DC Converters measuring only 0.52 x 0.36 x 0.40” with an ultra-wide 4-to-1 input range and 1600 VDC Isolation, 5 watt models offering the world’s highest power density.

The TDN family of isolated converters consists of 3 power ranges (1 Watt / 3 Watt / 5 Watt families), each power range consisting of 48 unique models offering through-hole or surface-mount (add suffix SM) package types, input ranges of 4.5-13.2 / 9-36 / 18-75 VDC and regulated outputs of 3.3 / 5 / 12 / 15 / 24 / ±5 / ±12 / ±15 VDC. All models include remote On/Off, short-circuit, over current protection and EMC according EN55022 class A. The 1 watt models operate over a temperature range of -40~+90°C full load, 3 watt models offer -40~+70°C full load and the 5 watt models are rated -40~+70°C with full power to 50°C. The small size and wide input range of these converters make them ideal for wide range of applications when space is limited. The reliability of these converters is supported by TRACO POWER’s 3 year product warranty.

Products are in stock and available through distributors around the globe with manufacturing lead times of 8 weeks. Please see www.tracopower.com for specifications, drawings and safety documentation.
