Clock generator targets PCIe 7.0 with 30fs jitter

May 18, 2026 By Puja Mitra Leave a Comment

Diodes Incorporated introduced the PI6CG33A06, a six-output clock generator for PCI Express® 7.0 and earlier PCIe® generations in servers, networking equipment, HPC systems and data center platforms. It provides 25MHz and 100MHz reference clocks with RMS jitter below 30fs and supports 128.0 GT/s PCIe links for 800G and 1.6T networking and AI accelerator applications. Using LP-HCSL technology with integrated termination, the device is designed to cut clock power consumption by at least 50% versus traditional HCSL solutions and eliminate up to 24 external resistors to reduce BOM cost and simplify PCB layout.
