Larson Electronics releases Low Profile 40 Watt General Area LED Strip Light

March 1, 2016 By Andrew Zistler Leave a Comment

larsonLarson Electronics, a company that specializes in industrial lighting solutions, announced the release of a 40 watt LED strip light designed to provide high light output in a rugged, durable lighting solution where low profile lighting is desired.

The GAU-48-IPS-LED-1227 low profile LED strip light from Larson Electronics is a 48” long light that produces 5,000 lumens of light. Its compact size and wide distribution of light makes it ideal for applications where space is at a premium. Specially chosen for their high lumen output and extreme longevity, this LED strip light is constructed with Cree LEDs which provide over 125 lumens per watt. This strip light is constructed of powder coated extruded aluminum for excellent strength and durability. It carries an IP65 rating, providing ingress protection against dust, dirt, and protection against light water jets sprayed directly on the fixture.

Mounting for this LED strip light is provided by two adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to any flat surface and then adjust the light 170° vertically for optimum light placement. This general area LED strip light operates on current ranging from 100 to 277 volts AC without any modifications necessary. This low profile strip light is equipped with 6’ of chemical and abrasion resistant cord terminated in an optional industrial grade cord cap for connection to common wall outlets.

Larson Electronics specializes in portable industrial lighting equipment, high mast light towers, explosion proof light fixtures, power distribution systems, LED lighting and more. To view their wide range of products, visit them on the web at Larsonelectronics.com or call 1-800-369-6671 for more information.
