Larson Electronics, a company that specializes in industrial grade lighting solutions, has announced the release of a fifteen watt rechargeable LED floodlight equipped with a USB cord as well as adapters to connect to a cigarette plug receptacle and a wall outlet.
The RL-15-LED-CPR portable LED floodlight from Larson Electronics is a compact rechargeable floodlight that is built to withstand demanding outdoor conditions and rugged use. This portable lantern is constructed with five, three watt high output light emitting diodes that generate a total of 1,100 lumens of cool white light while drawing 15 watts of energy. The LED assembly is protected by rustproof die-cast aluminum housing and an impact resistant polycarbonate lens. This light features an articulated light head that can be manually adjusted through 180° of vertical tilt. Once adjusted to the desired position, the light head will remain in place until the operator adjusts the light once more. A magnetic base simplifies mounting and can easily attach to any metallic surface when unexpected roadside hazards occur, such as a flat tire or engine troubles. The light is impact and vibration resistant, dustproof, rustproof, and IP67 rated waterproof. A distinctively placed sealed power button is located on the base of the unit, simplifying operation. This portable lantern contains a single 3.7 volt lithium ion battery that carries a 4.5 hour runtime on a full charge. With the included USB cord, this unit can be charged at any location using a computer, a vehicle USB adapter, a USB wall charger, or any other device that will accept a USB port.
“This new LED lantern is ideal for fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and outdoor work areas, providing operators with a durable, portable floodlight solution,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “Featuring LED technology, this lantern provides operators with over four hours of operation time on a single charge of its integrated lithium ion battery pack.”
