Waterproof LED drivers include PFC

September 26, 2017 By Lee Teschler Leave a Comment

The PWM-120-12DA / PWM-120-24DA is a constant-voltage-output design meeting Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) control system standards IEC62386-101,102,207. Suitable applications include LED commercial, office lighting, and indoor LED decorative lighting.

The constant-voltage PWM style output is at 1.47 kHz. The constant-voltage PWM modemean well pwm-40-60-90-120 maintains color temperature and brightness homogeneity when driving different styles of LED strips. The drivers operate from 90 to 305 Vac and comes in models having voltage ratings ranging between 12 and 48 V. High-efficiency operation up to 90.5% allow the drivers to have a fanless design and operate over a temperature range of -40 to 90℃. The drivers sit in plastic housings with a class II design and include active power factor control.

mean well pwm diagramStandby power consumption is less than 0.5 W (DA-type). The drivers are fully encapsulated to IP67 ingress protection level and are suitable for operation in dry, damp, or wet locations. The PWM-120 is equipped with a 3-in-1 dimming (dim-to-off) function that varies the duty cycle of the output. The units measure (L x W x H) 191x63x37.5 mm and have a five-year warranty.
