Encapsulated 15 & 30-W power supplies carry JST connectors

September 24, 2018 By Aimee Kalnoskas Leave a Comment

Encapsulated 15 & 30-W power suppliesTRACO POWER has announced the release of their TPP 15-J and TPP 30-J series of encapsulated 15 & 30-W power supplies with JST connectors for simplified plug & play cable assemblies as compared with traditional screw terminals. The footprint has been reduced to 2.82 x 1.14 x 0.82” (15W) or 3.95 x 1.50 x 1.00” (30W) with higher efficiencies and superior thermal performance. Typical applications include medical 2xMOPP requirements, various industrial applications as well as control systems in building automation

The TPP 15J and TPP 30J families offer eight single output models ranging 3.3 – 48 Vout. High efficiency up to 91.5% and industrial grade components enable an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with exceptional full-load convection operation up to +60°C ~ +75°C (depending on model) and a working altitude to 5000m. These models feature double reinforced I/O isolation, less than 75µA earth leakage current and Class I / Class II protection. Safety certifications include IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2xMOPP and Type BF medical applications; UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 and UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 for ITE / Industrial applications; and IEC/EN 61558 & IEC/EN 60335-1 for household appliances. All models are EMC compliant to EN 55032 class B and EN 60601-1-2 4th Edition. Reliability of > 3 million hours per MIL-HDBK-217F @ 25°C is further demonstrated with compliance to IEC 60068-2-6 (Vibration), IEC 60068-2-27 (Shock) and MIL-STD-810F (Thermal Shock). All models are backed by the TRACO POWER 5-year warranty.

Products are in stock and available through the TRACO POWER global distribution network with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks.
