Gallery: APEC 2017 — Hot markets moving cool speed ahead

April 4, 2017 By Aimee Kalnoskas

A familiar interface

Keysight offered four main demonstrations in converter design and simulation, oscilloscope power measurements, power converter design and test, and power efficiency and analysis.

According to Colin Warwick, Product Manager for Power Electronics, when Keysight entered the power analyzer market two years ago, the primary challenge for customers was the absence of an easy-to-use analyzer since many engineers do not regularly perform power measurements. The Keysight N6705C DC power analyzer is a highly integrated instrument that combines up to four advanced DC power supplies, DMM, oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, and datalogger.

“Other than the fact that there are no probe connectors,” says Warwick, “the N6705C looks like our 4000 Series scope only with a three-phase input to output to a device and single phase input or output on the other side with an easy-to-use interface and all sourcing and measuring functions available from the front panel.”
